We Need Your Support

Now that the preservation work on “Old 7’s” is complete, fundraising efforts are focused on raising support for new and improved exhibits, retail displays, and strengthening crucial fire safety programs. Working with exhibit design firm DG Studios, custom display cases showcasing the Museum’s vast collection, informative exhibits that share the history of firefighting in Houston, and wall graphics are planned. A virtual firefighter sponsored by State Farm is being created teaching fire safety tips in English and Spanish. Interactive tables will teach children firsthand the danger of playing with matches and candles and how to escape a fire if one occurs in their home. These additions and enhancements cost over $1,500,000. Please consider supporting our efforts by donating online.

If your interest is in the preservation work of “Old 7’s,” you may wish to purchase a legacy paver. These pavers will be installed on an outside walkway and be a permanent feature. Money raised from the sale of these pavers goes towards the gap in fundraising effort for the preservation work.

All gifts will ensure the Houston Fire Museum will continue to serve as a tribute to the history of the Houston Fire Department as it celebrates firefighters’ past, present, and future.

All donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law.
